AVON Fire and Rescue Service is calling for knitters and crocheters to lend a hand in creating trauma teds.
Trauma teds are given to young people who have been involved in traumatic incidents, giving them the reassurance they need.
A spokesperson from the Avon Fire & Rescue Service said: "Calling all Knitters & Crocheters!
"Do you have a few hours and balls of yarn to spare? Why not join one of our ‘Knit & Knatter’ sessions to create and donate a trauma ted or two!
"Following the overwhelming response we had for our trauma ted appeal, we're running a program of community craft sessions over the next few months and we'd love for you to bring your supplies and get involved!
