CLEVEDON firefighters tackled an "accidental" vehicle fire in Weston-in-Gordano over the weekend.
Crews from Clevedon and Avonmouth were called to the scene just after 5pm on Saturday, May 25.
Assisted by crews, one firefighter in breathing apparatus quenched the fire, which the service believe to have been started accidentally.
The road was closed for a short time whilst crews dealt with the situation.
Speaking on Saturday, a spokesperson from the Clevedon Firefighters team said: "Just after 5pm today, two crews from Clevedon and one from Avonmouth responded to a van fire in Weston-in-Gordano.
"The road was closed for a short time whilst crews including one firefighter in breathing apparatus dealt with the fire which is believed to have started accidentally."
