IN 2016, Broadchurch stars David Tennant and Olivia Coleman were spotted in Clevedon as filming got underway for the third series of the hit ITV drama.

The pair, who played detectives Alec Hardy and Ellie Miller, were seen in Hill Road in May of that year.

Large parts of the first two series were filmed in North Somerset.

Speaking at the time, writer Chris Chibnall said: “This is the final chapter of Broadchurch.

“We have one last story to tell featuring familiar faces and new characters.

“I hope it’s a compelling and emotional farewell to a world and show that means so much to me.”

Sarah Parish, former Coronation Street star Julie Hesmondhalgh, BAFTA winner Georgina Campbell, Sarah Parish, Charlie Higson and Mark Bazeley all signed up for the final series.
