A charity manager will stop at Clevedon during his gruelling solo cycle challenge from Land's End to John O'Groats.
Steve Scarsbrook, manager of Spencer Contact, started the strenuous LEJOG fundraiser on April 29.
He aims to reach John O'Groats by cycling through B roads, canal paths and disused railway lines by May 11.
In total, he will cycle over 1,000 miles within 13 days to raise money for families in need.
One of the stops is Clevedon which will take place on Wednesday, May 1.
The endeavour is organised as celebration of the organisation's 25-year anniversary.
Mr Scarsbrook said: "This is by far the biggest fundraiser we have ever organised in our whole 25-year history.
"And we have an ambitious £10,000 fundraising target to hit, which is huge for a small charity like ours."
Besides providing a lifeline for families starting anew, funds raised will directly aid those in dire situations.
Over £1,800 has been raised so far through the support of local businesses and individual contributions.
His wife expressed her gratitude for the support so far but highlighted the need for more financial backing.
