Clevedon School students have been starring in Ilminster at the County Drama Festival.
Over the course of two days, 10 performances were staged, with Clevedon School contributing two - All My Love Charles and The Changing Room.
They were performed by the 6th Form Youth Theatre (6YT) and Clevedon Youth Theatre (CYT).
The adjudicator, Annie Rees, praised both performances, noting the exceptional quality of the ensemble work.
Victoria Pope, the drama teacher who wrote All My Love Charles, said: "The students have been brilliant at refining their talent and weaving their own magic into their roles.
"It is rewarding to see how they have been recognised for their hard work."
The Clevedon Youth Theatre received four nominations and bagged three wins, including the Brian Edwards Trophy for Technical Excellence, The Hope Cup for Best Presentation and The Eyris Jones Memorial Trophy for Best Youth Production.
They will be participating in the 5-Counties finals in April.
All My Love Charles, performed by the 6YT, enjoyed a successful debut competition, securing three nominations; Best Actor Under 30 for Lucy Norris and Alfie Ireland, and winning Best Production of an Original Script.
Year 9 CYT member, Emily Chambers, shared her excitement: "We have created a family feeling within the group and this has given me so much confidence.
"I can't wait to perform again in the 5-county finals!"
The school thanked Somerset Fellowship of Drama for the successful competition and weekend.
