A live art masterclass mixed with an afternoon tea is coming to Cadbury House in Congresbury.
The reputable four-star hotel is hosting the unique event that merges an art masterclass with a delightful culinary experience.
Art aficionados have the chance to learn from famed artist, Becky Milnor, recognised for her nature-inspired artwork and the noteworthy use of gold leaf on her creations.
She will conduct a live painting session, unravelling the secrets behind her distinctive style and demonstrating how she transforms a plain canvas into a captivating work of art.
Attendees will then get a chance to delve into their artistic side by creating their own sketch.
Upon completion of the painting class, an afternoon tea including a glass of fizz will be served, giving guests an opportunity to admire Ms Milnor's work and that of their fellow attendees.
Becky Milnor said: "As a child, I lived on a farm in rural Devon, my fondest memories are of sunny days exploring the outdoors.
"My art is countryside-inspired, and I am drawn to the glamour of the art deco era, evident in the use of gold leaf in my work.
"The luminosity created by gold leaf when natural light hits the canvas is spectacular."
The event is scheduled to take place on Saturday, 1 June.
The art master class begins at 11.30am, lasting approximately two hours.
The afternoon tea is set to be served from 1.30pm.
Matilda Burgess, the marketing manager at Cadbury House, added: "This extraordinary event provides an excellent opportunity for any aspiring artist to learn from a true master.
"We have previously showcased Becky's art, which garnered attendees' keen interest.
"This event is more than a workshop—it's a celebration of creativity, culture, and gastronomy.
"We eagerly await to greet experienced and new artists to the session."
Cadbury House plans to host many similar creative events, including candle making and wreath making sessions and a special Somerset menu showcase, featuring the best fare from across the county.
Tickets for the event cost £35 per person, inclusive of the workshop and afternoon tea.
