A huge professional wrestling event is set to takeover Portishead starring a former WWE champion.

Brian Kendrick, once a WWE Cruiserweight and WWE Tag Team Champion, will challenge British rising star, ‘The Impish One’ Charles Crowley at Somerset Hall on May 4.

The match is organised by British Kingdom Pro Wrestling, a promotion known for its developing fanbase in the town and hosting frequent shows.

Kendrick will return to Portishead having defeated Tiger Ali in front of a sold-out crowd in the same venue on January 27.

The show will also hold a ‘fatal four’ match featuring Dragon Gate's Mochizuki JR, Tiger Ali from Iran, and homegrown talents Nico Angelo of Wales and England's Lee Hunter.
