Clevedon School won big at this year's Somerset Fellowship of Drama for the David Beach Awards.
Rising above established amateur dramatic and light opera societies, the school clinched five awards out of the eleven categories they were nominated for.
Some of the school's triumphs were the Bright Award for Technical Theatre, Best Stage Management, Best Actress in a Youth Production, Show-stopper for Another One Bites the Dust, and the premier prize of the night, Best Youth Musical Production.
This win marks an incredible achievement for Clevedon School, as it is their maiden victory in this prestigious category, despite being nominated five times prior.
Debbie Morgan, head of performing arts at the school, said: "The young people put their heart and soul into the shows.
"Winning Best Youth Production really validates our view that productions at a school should be seen in the same light as those produced by other societies.
"We cannot thank the Somerset Fellowship of Drama and the community enough for their support, kind words and encouragement".
Clevedon School also congratulated other community groups that had nominations and wins, including three former students who also received awards.
Looking forward, Ms Morgan said: "The next musical will be Legally Blonde in December and we have our fingers crossed for nominations for Footloose in the next season of the competition."
