Firefighters from Avon Fire and Rescue Service will host a charity car wash at Clevedon Fire Station.
The fundraiser is set to take place on April 27 and follows a successful wash at Hicks Gate Fire Station.
It hopes to rally the local community behind a worthy cause.
Firefighter Chrissie Becker, who is organising the event, expressed her excitement, and implored local residents to join in, saying: "It’s brilliant to be hosting this event and to have the opportunity to engage with our local community.
"I’d ask anyone in and around the Clevedon area to come down and see us on the day to get your car sparkling clean and help us raise some all-important funds."
The funds raised during the event will benefit The Fire Fighters Charity.
This organisation provides material support and therapeutic aid, fostering physical and mental health for firefighters and their families across the country in times of need.
The charity is deeply rooted in the community and is integral in maintaining the well-being and resilience of fire service personnel across the nation.
The charity car wash is open to the public from 10am to 4pm at Clevedon Fire Station, Old Street, Clevedon.
