Nailsea and Tickenham FC have announced the 2024 edition of Frythtival, their annual community music festival.
The fourth edition of music festival will be taking place on Saturday May 25th from midday-11pm and welcomes families to enjoy a host of bands and acts as well as festival food and drinks available in abundance.
New headliners Just Take That will be closing the festival on the main stage and other newcomers Little Roads, featuring Sam Eason, and Wurzel tribute band Twice Dailies will be making their first appearance at the festival.
There will also be the return of fan favourites such as Take a chance on Queen, who will again be bashing out all your favourite ABBA songs, and Big Hair while will cover yet more 80s anthems.
Local group Tier One Mugs who have appeared for the last two festivals will also be entertaining the crowds.
Three bars will also be serving a variety of drinks and refreshments at the football club.
The Swags Brambles bar will be serving Ales, Lagers, and Ciders, the Swags Shack will be serving Wines, Prosecco and PIMMS, and the brand new bar for this year the Spirit bar will be available for those after something a little stronger, serving, you guessed it, a variety of spirits.
There will also be face painting for both kids and adults, and an area for children to play safely.
Festival Organiser and Nailsea and Tickenham FC chairman Rob Gregory said: “Everyone at the club is really excited about this year’s festival and we have once again raised the bar in terms of layout.
“The Frythtival stage is a great addition and will give the revellers the chance to get closer to the groups and a better view of the performances with a proper mosh pit!
“Last year broke all records in terms of revenue and attendance with well over 550 people enjoying the music and sunshine, so we are hoping to exceed this for Frythtival 24!”
Early bird tickets are still available for £15 here until April 30th, when prices will increase to £20 per person, with under 18s always going free.
