Children and staff at St John the Evangelist Church School in Clevedon enjoyed a host of activities to celebrate World Book Day.
Learners came dressed in outfits representing their favourite book characters, and the day was filled with a special assembly led by local storyteller, Liz Felton.
Ms Felton facilitated the creation of innovative writing story concepts.
Throughout the day, she held specific classes, whilst other adults in the school kept the children engaged with narrated stories.
The event concluded with a book exchange involving parents and caregivers.
