Clevedon Pier has announced The Hawthorns Clevedon and Poets Mews Care Home as its main sponsors this year.
The Clevedon Pier & Heritage Trust heralded this partnership, which builds on a relationship spanning nearly three decades.
The chair of the Clevedon Pier & Heritage Trust, Phil Curme, said: "We are proud of our partnership with The Hawthorns and Poets Mews - a collaboration which is going from strength to strength.
"This main sponsorship helps us to preserve the UK's only Grade 1 listed pier for future generations, and we love welcoming their residents as visitors, volunteers and supporters."
Aggie Jasinski, customer services manager at The Hawthorns, added: "We are very proud to be Clevedon Pier's main sponsor.
"Our residents love visiting the Pier and always receive a very warm welcome.
"Working with the Trust is proving to be extremely worthwhile and is opening up all sorts of community orientated opportunities."
Historically, the original founder of The Hawthorns was among the earliest supporters of the trust following the pier’s collapse and during the local campaign to save it.
The shelters and pagoda at the pier-head were stored on land adjacent to The Hawthorns when the Pier was dismantled for reinstatement in the late 1980s.
The association continued after the sale of The Hawthorns to Avery Healthcare, who acknowledged the historic connection.
Over the past few years, Avery served as the trust's main sponsor, providing aid for specific projects and contributing funds for essential long-term preventative maintenance.
This past week marked the renewal of the partnership with a celebration at The Pier’s unique restaurant - The Glass Box.
Aggie Jasinski praised the venue as "an incredible dining experience, in a fabulous Pier setting, very tasty meals, beautifully presented, served with a lovely smile by ever so friendly staff".
Looking ahead, both parties eagerly anticipate working together in the next twelve months.
