A MOTORING show produced by a small team in Clevedon and starring a presenter from the town is launching its second series on Amazon Prime.
Lovecars: On the Road will be available on the global streaming service for the first time from Friday (February 16).
Clevedonian Paul Woodman will return to host the show alongside TV personality and ex-racing driver Tiff Needell.
Other special guests include Ben Collins, who was the former Stig on Top Gear, and Italian racer Vicky Piria.
The move to Amazon Prime will put it on the same platform as The Grand Tour, hosted by former Top Gear trio Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond, and Clarkson's Farm.
On the Road will also launch into new global territories to entertain audiences in the USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand on the same date.
Series two will feature a long list of cars including a priceless endurance racing Porsche, a six-wheeled monster truck, glittering supercars like the Lamborghini Huracan STO, an ultra-rare Pagani Huayra BC and a £1.6 million hand-built homage to a famous Ferrari.
There are also real-life tests of electric vehicles such as the Genesis GV60 and Renault Megane E-Tech.
The team’s travels include adventures in over 50 different cars in nine countries, from an electric road trip through Switzerland’s winter wonderland to the holy grail of hypercars on Ohio’s highways.
Viewers will be transported to beautiful roads, city streets and circuits for reviews and races – including a close call for Paul at Silverstone.
Paul's hometown Clevedon will also make an appearance.
“The show is about putting viewers in the driving seat of as many different cars as we can, in some of the greatest driving destinations,” said Paul.
“There’s currently nowhere else on TV that can transport you from sub-zero Scandinavia to a summer’s afternoon in Tuscany with a V8 Maserati soundtrack – or from a fast blast on Britain’s B-roads to cruising in a Bugatti Chiron on an American highway.”
Co-host Tiff Needell said: “We’re well and truly back with a bang.
“Series two is such a treat – I can’t wait for the Prime Video audience to join us on our wild motoring adventures.
“And we’ve got everything covered – from one of the world’s most incredible supercar collections, to the ultimate guide to charging an EV.
“There’s something for everyone.”
Just one week to go before new series of @thegrandtour and @Lovecars 'On The Road' are launched @PrimeVideo!

One might have slightly bigger talent, a much bigger budget and a lot more sand but I do hope you enjoy them both ... https://t.co/TRd9HqULCT
