A tapestry collage that features local landmarks has been rehomed at a community hub after a relocation.
The collage, which was completed by Nailsea’s Women’s Institute (WI) in 1997, was originally exhibited at Nailsea Library. However, the collage needed a new location following the library's relocation in 2023.
Created from photographs taken by WI member Mary Rome, fellow members formed fabric images, which were then merged to form the larger collage in commemoration of Nailsea WI’s jubilee.

The piece was presented to the Community Hub on January 11, 2024, by Marie Openshaw and Penny Hall.
Other contributors included Margaret Jones, Mary Lewis, Audrey Lockett, Maureen Hounsell, Anne Butt and Lily Wyatt, among others.
Nailsea WI meetings are held on the second Wednesday of the month at 7.30pm in Christchurch vestry hall.
