A WOMAN who used her 50kg dog to threaten two teenagers in Nailsea has been ordered to attend rehab meetings and work 237 hours unpaid.
Samantha Gardiner, 47, of Chelsfield, Backwell, verbally abused and threatened a 17-year-old girl and a 16-year-old boy on October 9, 2023 at The Perrings.
Gardiner, who was intoxicated after drinking at a local pub, threatened to kill the teenagers and even used her large dog to jump up on their car and intimate them.
The dog, who is estimated to weigh around 50kg, caused damage to the vehicle.
Gardiner, who pled guilty at North Somerset Magistrates' Court on January 2, 2024, received a community order, which includes a rehabilitation activity requirement and a unpaid work requirement.
Gardiner was also ordered to pay £200 compensation.
The court heard how the attack started without provocation or excuse.
