CLEVEDON Pier will once again return to the big screen in the very first episode of Channel 4's drama Truelove, which begins at 9pm tonight (Wednesday, January 3).
The six-part series follows the story of a gang of older friends who make a dangerous pact to give each other a dignified death.
This isn't the first time the pier has been featured on TV. The structure has featured in EastEnders, Coast, River Monsters and Casualty.
Parts of Broadchurch were also filmed in the coastal town too.
A spokesperson from North Somerset Council said: "No stranger to the small (or big!) screen, Clevedon Pier is back on TV again tonight at 9pm as Channel 4's new thriller Truelove begins.
"North Somerset’s landmarks and scenery have long been used as locations for some of the nation’s best loved films and TV shows. Having seen the economic benefits that filming can bring into the area, our economy team In North Somerset officially launched a registered film office and accompanying website in 2022."
