POLICE officers are renewing their appeal for witnesses after a teenage pedestrian died following a collision in Backwell.
On Thursday, September 28, 18-year-old Emma Armstrong was taken to hospital with serious injuries after she was involved in a collision on West Town Road.
The incident, which involved a black Toyota IQ3, took place at around 7.30pm.
On Sunday, October 15, Emma sadly passed away. Her family continue to be supported by a specially trained officer.
Police carried out house-to-house and CCTV enquiries and are continuing to investigate the incident.
