AN endangered giraffe who arrived at his new North Somerset home just before Christmas is getting "braver by the day."
Ronan, who was born at Belfast Zoo, has joined nine-year-old male Kito and six-year-old female Eller at Noah's Ark Zoo Farm in Wraxall.
Despite only arriving on December 9, Ronan appears to already be settling in well.
Posting on Facebook, a spokesperson from the zoo farm said: "The latest addition to the Noah's Ark Family, Ronan, has been spending the Christmas holidays settling in and exploring his new home!
"Head giraffe keeper Jayne said: 'We are still in the process of helping Ronan get nice and settled and are keeping the giraffe house nice and quiet for him, he's getting braver by the day.'
"Make sure to pop up to the giraffe enclosure to see if you can spot him!"
Larry Bush, managing director at Noah’s Ark, said: "Giraffes have a lot to teach us and Ronan, Kito and Eller act as ambassadors for their wild counterparts."
