PORTISHEAD'S RNLI crew launched last week following reports of a missing person in the Clevedon and Pill area.
Crew members were called out at around 8.04pm on Monday, November 20.
Posting on Facebook, a spokesperson from the Portishead RNLI team said: "RNLI crew volunteers launched at 8.04pm to assist Avon and Somerset Police, Portishead Coastguard Rescue Team and Clevedon Coastguard Rescue Team to help search for a missing person reported to be in the Clevedon Pill area.
"As the crew arrived on scene they carried out a thorough shoreline search of the whole area using their search lights and night vision kit to support the other agencies.
"The crew were informed that the person was found safe and well by the land-based search team.
"This was the 37th call out so far this year for the volunteers, thanks to all your kind donations we are able to continue our lifesaving work."
