AN 82-year-old motorist from North Somerset in court for speeding has been hit with prosecution costs of just £2.
Andrea Maria Harrison, of Plunder Street, Cleeve, attended North Somerset Magistrates' Court on Monday (November 20), when she pleaded guilty to the offence.
The court heard that she was clocked doing 46mph on a 40mph stretch of the M32 Severn Bridge rail line over bridge on September 6 last year.
Harrison was fined £70 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £28, along with a £2 contribution towards he Crown Prosecution Service's costs.
Her driving record was endorsed with three points
She was told she must pay her total court bill of £100 by Christmas Day (Monday, December 25).
