Portishead Town are overwhelmed that “quality seasoned comics” will be coming to their clubhouse to perform Stand Up Comedy next month says facilities manager Nigel Osmond.
Spencer Jones will be the headline act with Tommy Jones as his support with Luke Honnarary opening the show and Scott Adams as the host at the home of the Football Club on Bristol Road on Saturday, December 2 at 8pm.
And Osmond says Posset are surprised that well-known comics will be travelling to North Somerset to put on a show a few weeks before Christmas.
“We are really overwhelmed that quality seasoned comics are coming to Portishead Town Clubhouse on December 2, to perform,” he said.
“These guys have gigged at the Edinburgh fringe festival and a few at the Apollo theatre so they are quality acts. Hopefully the event will go really well and Portishead Town can hold more comedy events in the future.”
Tickets are now on sale for £15 and can be purchased through the clubhouse, Mark’s Barbers, the Sports Shop and the Bakehouse.
