THE Star Pub and Carvery in Congresbury will be closing its doors this weekend in preparation for a six-figure refurbishment.
The Greene King pub, situated on Rhodyate Hill, is expected to reopen in December following completion of major renovations both inside and outside the pub.
The Greene King website reads: "We're closing for an investment and will re-open soon with a new look!
"Located in the village of Congresbury, the Star Pub and Carvery offers great quality food and drink in a family friendly pub atmosphere."
The pub is also currently recruiting for more than five front of house and bar team vacancies, anyone wishing to apply can do so by visiting the pub or by emailing M6719@greeneking.co.uk.
The company, which was originally founded in 1799, has 2,700 pubs, restaurants and hotels across the UK.
