MOTORISTS in North Somerset will experience some travel disruption over the next couple weeks.
There will be various road closures on the National Highways network to keep in mind. Some of these are expected to cause moderate delays, with holdups of between 10 and 30 minutes.
• M5, from 9pm yesterday (October 30) to 6am November 3, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 21 entry slip closed for carriageway repairs. Diversion via, junction 22 and back.
• A4, from 8pm October 31 to 6am November 1, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 19 exit and entry slip closed for drainage, diversion for exit slip via, junction 18, St. Brendans and back. Diversion for entry slip via, junction 20 and back.
• M5, from 9pm November 1 to 6am November 2, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 20 to 21, lane closure for carriageway repairs.
• A4, from 9pm November 1 to 6am November 2, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 19 entry slip closed for for electrical works. Diversion via, junction 18, Portway roundabout, junction 18 southbound, entry slip to travel south.
• M5, from 10pm November 1 to 5am November 2, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 20 exit slip road - lane closure for safety barrier repairs.
• M5, from 9pm November 6 to 6am November 10, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 21 entry slip closed for carriageway repairs. Diversion via, junction 22 and back.
• M5, from 9pm November 13 to 6am November 14, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 20 to 19, lane closure for electrical works.
• M5, from 9pm November 13 to 6am November 14, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 21 entry slip closed for carriageway repairs. Diversion via, junction 22 and back.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
