A NAILSEA man has admitted being the owner of a vehicle "when it did not meet the insurance requirements" of the Road Traffic Act 1988.
Liam James Broughton, 37, of Greenslade Gardens, had previously pleaded guilty to the offence, although he was not present for sentencing at North Somerset Magistrates' Court.
The court was told that the offence was committed on March 4, 2021, although the location was "unknown".
Broughton was fined £146 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £58, as well as a contribution towards costs of £110.
He must pay the total court bill of £314 by November 20.
