THERE were 95 burglaries in the Nailsea, Wrington and Backwell beat areas in the last two years, Avon and Somerset Police statistics show.
The Nailsea beat recorded 54 burglaries from October 2021 until August 2023, whilst the Wrington and Backwell beat noted 41 in the same timeframe.
There were also 14 attempted burglaries in Nailsea and 14 in Wrington and Backwell.
In Nailsea, it seems like business and community burglaries were the most common, with 25 happening in those years. This is closely followed by the number of residential home burglaries, of which there were 24.
Meanwhile, in the Wrington and Backwell beat areas, there were 20 business and community burglaries and 16 residential home burglaries.
Aggravated burglary for business and community was the lowest statistic, with only one happening in the three year span for Backwell and Wrington.
