A CHANGE of use application has been submitted which would turn a Nailsea retail unit into a tanning salon.
Crown Glass Shopping Centre's management company, Praxis, submitted the application to change the use of 19 Colliers Walk on Thursday, September 28.
The unit, which was formally a phone shop, would change from Use E (commercial, business and services) to a Sui Generis tanning bed salon.
There would be no external changes to the building. All alterations would be made internally.
The application's cover statement reads: "The client would like to propose a change of use on the ground floor at 19 Colliers Walk from a currently vacant Class E retail unit into a Sui Generis tanning bed salon. There will be no external changes to the building all alterations will be internally."
