A DISRUPTIVE passenger was "removed" by police from an easyJet flight over the weekend.
On Sunday, October 8, the EZY2803 flight from Bristol to Athens was diverted to Frankfurt so that police could remove a passenger who was "behaving disruptively onboard."
easyJet has said that they do not tolerate disruptive behaviour and that such incidents are taken seriously.
A spokesperson from easyJet told the North Somerset Times: "easyJet can confirm that flight EZY2803 from Bristol to Athens on October 8 diverted to Frankfurt where the aircraft was met by police due to a passenger behaving disruptively onboard.
"The flight then continued to Athens once the passenger was removed.
“easyJet’s cabin crew are trained to assess and evaluate all situations and to act quickly and appropriately to ensure that the safety of the flight and other passengers is not compromised at any time.
“Whilst such incidents are rare we take them very seriously and do not tolerate disruptive behaviour onboard.
"The safety and wellbeing of passengers and crew is always easyJet's highest priority.”
