A MOTORIST from Clevedon has been hit with a court bill of over £700 for failing to give police details of a driver who was suspected of committing an offence.
Victoria Gianninoto, 43, of Yeates Court, pleaded guilty when she appeared at North Somerset Magistrates' Court to failing to reveal the identity of the driver.
She was fined £540 and ordered to pay a £54 victim surcharge and a contribution of £135 towards the Crown Prosecution Service's costs.
She was also anded six penalty points on her driving licence.
A further charge of speeding at 36mph in a 30mph zone on the B3133 at Kenn Road, Clevedon on May 6 last year was dismissed by the court, with no evidence offered.
