"TO use a cricket analogy, 60 not out (and 41 years an estate agent), seems to be a good knock and time to pick up my bat and declare the end of the first innings!
"But what will you DO?, everyone keeps asking me.
"My reply has been: I’ll do all the things I normally do, including my 'Who do you think you are?' style, military research hobby, but I’ll do those things for longer and without estate agency work taking up my time!
"In 2012, I wrote an article headed Stephen Pring – an Estate Agent for 30 years! It’s now 2023 - where have the last 11 years gone? Or the past 41 years for that matter!
"My estate agency career has gone by in a flash and that’s always a good sign isn’t it. It’s been terrific.
"Thank you to everyone who has chosen me to assist them in moving home over those years and thank you to my family, friends and past colleagues, for their unstinting support and advice along the way.
"I can still be found in Nailsea, so please stop me and say hi. You can still reach me via my email address and if you have an interesting military relative who you might like to know more about, or if you own their medals and would like some help revealing the story behind your ancestor’s military history, please get in touch and I’ll see if I can help.
"Mind you, whilst I’ve lived my professional life under the estate agent’s mantra of No sale – No fee, I might have to charge you for my time and expertise.
"After all, to finish on the cricket theme, those Extras will help to supplement the second innings!"
Stephen Pring, Nailsea estate agent.
