THE owners of Yatton Newsagents are retiring after four decades of running the business.
Angela and Clive Mortimer have owned the company for the past 41 years.
They also acquired the business next door, Cork and Fork, 13 years ago.
It is now time for the couple to retire.
Angela said: "We have owned Yatton Newsagents for 41 years and then took over the next door premises 13 years ago when Threshers off licence went out of business and we turned it into a deli farm shop and off licence which I ran.
"Sadly, it's time for us to retire with a lot of sad customers not wanting to see us go.
"And we wanted to say a big thank you to our staff and customers for their support and loyalty over the years.
"The new owner, Suresh, intends to carry on trading with both businesses as they are with the staff, we wish him every success."
