A DRIVER from Clevedon has been found guilty of using a mobile phone while at the wheel.
Christian Simon Hollyman, aged 32, of Claremont Gardens, denied the charge when he appeared at North Somerset Magistrates' Court.
But magistrates decided he had committed the offence.
The court was told he used the hand held device while driving along St Augustine's Parade, in Bristol, on December 14 last year,
Hollyman was fined £200 and must pay an £80 victim surcharge as well as £200 towards the Crown Prosecution costs, landing him with a £480 court bill.
He also received six penalty points on his driving licence.
