A 'REPEAT' speeding offender from North Somerset has been banned from driving.
Thomas Alexander Vibert Baxter, 44, of Naish Lane, Barrow Gurney, was sentenced at North Somerset Magistrates' Court after pleading guilty.
He admitted doing 48mph in a 40mph zone on the A4174 on October 27 last year.
He was fined £320 and ordered to pay a £128 victim surcharge along with a contribution of £90 towards prosecution costs.
He was handed three penalty points on his driving licence, taking him over the totting up point system for a ban.
Magistrates disqualified him from holding or obtaining a driving licence for six months "due to repeat offending".
His total court bill of £538 must be paid by September 11.
