A YOUNG man from a North Somerset village has been fined by a court for breaching the requirements of a community order.
Andrew John Gray, 25, of Claverham, admitted the breach when he appeared at North Somerset Magistrates' Court on Friday (June 30).
The court was told that Gray failed to attend for an unpaid work session and missed an office appointment without giving an acceptable reason.
The community order was originally imposed in March for an assault in Claverham on Christmas Eve last year.
Gray was fined £200 for the breach and was ordered to pay the court bill at a rate of £20 a month starting on August 2.
