CADBURY House now has new and improved spinning bikes.
For those that want to get their heart rate racing and their legs moving, the 25 Johnny G Spirit Bikes are available at the leading health club. This is part of a £50,000 investment by Cadbury House.
The latest in spinning and fitness technology, these electronically controlled magnetic resistance system bikes operate off a belt drive system and provides users with the feel of a road bike. They also create their own power with a generator built into the frame so no batteries are used.
The new equipment is suitable for all users, whatever your fitness level or cycling experience. Those who take part in the spinning classes will be using the most technologically advanced bikes giving them the best possible work out.
Jason Eaton, general manager at the club, said: “We want our members to have the best facilities possible and is why we are constantly updating the equipment.
“The arrival of these new spinning bikes is great news and shows our commitment to our members to provide the best possible equipment. The spinning classes are very popular so it’s great to upgrade the spinning studio.
“Spin classes offer a fun and energetic workout that burns calories and fat and tones the bum and thighs.”
A spin class, which is led by an instructor, lasts around 40 minutes at the club. Those that take part will be led through a series of endurance, sprints and climbs designed to help you test your limits. Not only that, the exercise also builds strength and cardiovascular endurance.
Jason adds: “Spinning tones the thigh muscles and because you stay in one place with the same basic movement throughout, it doesn't involve a lot of coordination so it's easier to concentrate on your form than in other types of aerobic classes.
“And although you follow the general instructions of the spinning teacher, you are in control when it comes to your pace. You can finish a spin class, regardless of your fitness level, simply by adjusting your pace or the tension knob on the bike.”
