IF you feel like getting outside after the Coronation weekend and want to do something in the community, then Clevedon Marine Lake Day is for you.
Marlens - the charity that runs Clevedon Marine Lake - would love to welcome you to a day of fun and free activities on Bank Holiday Monday (May 8).
The Coronation Weekend Bank Holiday has been nationally named ‘The Big Help Out’.
It has been created by charities across the UK to celebrate the positive impact of volunteering on communities across the nation and is designed to encourage people to come out and support the causes that matter to them.
The popular annual event at Clevedon Marine Lake brings together all sorts of lake activities and taster sessions – there’s something for everyone.
It is free, but donations - a suggested amount if £1 - would be welcome.
Sarah Swash, chairman of Marlens, said: "Clevedon’s wonderful lake is for everyone.
"We would love to welcome you to celebrate it.
"There are all sorts of lake activities and free taster sessions – from racing paddleboards and model boats to synchronised swimmers and crabbing.
"BBC Radio Bristol will also be paying us a visit to join in the festivities, so please do join us for a fun packed day."
