FORMER Clevedon schoolchildren are being urged to cast their minds back and remember if they were one of the hundred who made the shape of a Concorde plane as it flew past on its final journey.
This November, the last flight of Aplha Foxtrot will be remembered at Aerospace Bristol. The plane was the last Concorde to be built and the last to fly.
The event will celebrate the 20th anniversary of Alpha Foxtrot's return to Filton and its eventual home in a purpose-built hangar at the museum.
British Airways senior captain Les Brodie took the aircraft on a farewell flypast along the North Somerset coast. He said: “A school put out a hundred children in the shape of a Concorde.
“We could seem them clearly from the air and it looked absolutely fantastic.”
If you were one of those children who gave the Concorde a farewell wave, it is urged that you get in touch.
