CHARLIE the dog has finally found his forever home.
After spending over 500 days in the RSPCA Brent Knoll Animal Centre, Charlie, a nine-year-old crossbreed, has been adopted.
Charlie left the kennel with his new owners on Friday, March 24, swapping Somerset for Hampshire.
A favorite of the team at the centre, Charlie used to join his human companions every morning during their tea break.
A sweet but shy dog, Charlie has been negatively impacted by domestic abuse and confrontation in his previous home, and is wary of men.
However, by all accounts Charlie is settling into his new home well. In a Facebook post by the branch, Charlie's new owners have said: "He is delightful and he spent last night on my bed!''
There are many other dogs like Charlie that are waiting to be loved.
