A CLEVEDON-based engraving company has designed a commemorative plaque to celebrate the Coronation of King Charles III.
The ceremony is due to be held in May this year.
Brunel Engraving has designed the plaque to allow local businesses, organisations, charities, councils, trusts and companies the chance to remember the royal event.
The plaque will feature the coronation emblem as created by Sir Jony Ive, Apple’s former chief design officer.
This design combines the national flowers of the four nations of the United Kingdom: the English rose, Scottish thistle, Welsh daffodil and the shamrock of Wales.
The plaque can be made unique with the addition of text or logos.
Tom Pycock, sales director at Brunel Engraving, says: “The King’s coronation is a major event which people all over the country will be celebrating.
“We as a company wanted to created something to mark this important piece of history."
