CHURCHES together in Portishead are raising money for the role of Chaplain at Gordano school by doing a sponsored Abseil of St Peters Tower.
There has been a Chaplain in Post at Gordano school for almost 3 years now, the wonderful Becky Cox. A spokesperson said :"She has devoted her time to supporting students in various ways, we all know how tough school can sometimes be and how stretched the wonderful staff and teachers can be, Becky has been quite literally a Godsend."
Churches Together in Portishead along with the school want to see that role continue. So, we are raising money through an abseil down St Peter’s bell Tower on the March 25 between 2pm and 5pm there is still opportunity to take part in the abseil (see link below) or just come down that afternoon and enjoy the spectacle.
