North Somerset Council have released a leaflet and survey to better understand your money worries and offer you tailored support.
Working with the Trussell Trust and the Independent Food Aid Network (IFAN), the council hopes to gain an understanding of people's financal difficulties across North Somerset, in the hope that they can provide relief for those struggling.
There are currently many grants which North Somerset Council provide. Here are a few:
- NHS low income support scheme
- Council tax support fund
- Household support fund
- Surestart maternity grant
- Cold weather payments

According to a survey carried out by Money and Pensions Service (MaPS) last year, one in six adults in the South West alone have little to no savings, meaning that more and more people are having to live paycheck to paycheck in an increasingly expensive time.
