A CHURCH in Clevedon is to offer free wellbeing help to those suffering with poor mental health from next year.
Christchurch, in Chapel Hill, will see a return of its mental wellbeing programmes offered to the community for the last two years.
The scheme, called living life to the full, is headed by Revd Dr Russell Herbert where around 150 people from across Clevedon and the surrounding area help to reduce stress and take care in one's health.
It will now run again in January.
People will be able to access eight sessions on how to engage practical skills that deal with issues such as stress, anxiety and depression, drawing on the principles of cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT).
Revd Herbert said: "We've been so encouraged by the feedback we’ve had, and we’re keen to make the course available to everyone.
"As part of its holistic approach, the course incorporates a spiritual dimension, but I should emphasize that it is designed to be accessible to all regardless of their beliefs.
"We will be running these sessions because we believe mental health is an absolute priority."

The next course starts on January 12.
