A VILLAGE drama club will put on a firm favourite for audiences this week.
Tickenham Drama Group is to bring a new version of The Three Musketeers for its November production.
The adaptation of the famous play was first performed professionally with just four actors playing all 34 roles. But director Phil Glanville-Jones has brought together a cast of 17 members of the Tickenham Group.
It's a light-hearted look at the Alexandre Dumas classic with plenty of comedy while retaining the intrigue, sword fighting and romance of the original.
Relationships develop and unfold while plots are hatched and others battle to foil them.
The production runs from November 16 to November 19 at Tickenham Village Hall. It will start at 7.30pm.
A bar will open before and after the play as well as during the interval.
Tickets are priced at £12 and are available to book from the website at www.ticketsource.co.uk.
