CHILDREN had the opportunity to perform in a professional show in Bristol earlier this month.
Clevedon School's 'elite dancers' were invited by Tony Hopkins to perform alongside other acts as part of Circus Montini, on The Downs.
Sixteen students, aged 12 to 15, closed the second act of the show to huge applause.
They performed We Can Be Heroes and learnt the choreography to be part of the finale with all of the circus acts.
Head of performing arts, Debbie Morgan, said: "It was so incredible to see our students perform on a professional stage, to a professional standard.
“We are so grateful for the opportunities that we are given by Tony Hopkin’s and other groups in our community.
“Raising aspirations and allowing young people to see that their passions can be careers is so important.”
Circus Montini also hosted a small group of students for a full-day workshop and played host to a packed crowd of 200 Year 7’s in the audience.
