PEOPLE in Portishead will be asked to help community groups at a fayre later this month.
Volunteers are desperately needed for charity services regularly used in the area.
Two volunteer fayres will take place at the Folk Hall, on High Street, on Thursday, October 13, from 12 noon to 5pm and Saturday, October 22, from 10am to 4pm.
More than 20 groups will hold stalls at the events and include the Lido, St Johns Ambulance and Girlguiding Portishead.
A spokesperson for Portishead council said: "The fayres are open to anyone who wants to find out more about the many groups within Portishead, or if you are interested in volunteering some time for one of these groups.
"Community groups will showcase the work they do in our town."
Refreshments will be provided.
To book a stand, contact Portishead Town Council by email on comm@portishead.gov.uk or call 01275 847078.
