Police say a man has been charged in relation to a 'public disturbance' in Portishead Marina on the weekend.
A 27-year-old man has been charged with five offences relating to an incident which took place around 8pm on Saturday, September 10, on Newfoundland Way.
A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police said: "Max Nicholson, of High Street, Portishead, has been charged with three counts of assaulting an emergency worker, one count of failure to comply with a community protection notice, one count of racially aggravated public order offence without violence, and one public order offence."
He is due to appear before the bench at North Somerset Magistrates' Court today, September 12.
