Inventive pupils made robots, a flying machine and an ice cream van at an Easter holiday club.
St Andrew’s Church in Backwell ran three fun-packed morning sessions based on the theme of inventions.
Other creations included catapults and a mega machine to increase the size of different items posted into it.
Children used cardboard boxes, CDs, foil, tissue paper and buttons to bring their designs to life.
They also enjoyed watching the mega machine turn a roll into a baguette.
More than 40 children aged four to 11 took part in the crafty club at the church.
The children celebrated the end of the holiday club with a family fun day at Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm in Wraxall.
