A book signing will be held at a Clevedon bookshop next week.
Books on the Hill will welcome Frome-based author, Julian Hight, who will sign copies of his newest picture book – World Tree Story.
The book is a result of a five-year effort to travel to 39 countries capturing 100 ancient, historic trees from around the world.
It is a tribute to some of the world’s oldest, largest and most famous trees told through literature, legend and history, using archive photographs and engravings alongside photos taken by the author himself while on his travels.
The visit also coincides with Civilized Saturday, a campaign organised by a number of bookshops as an antidote to Black Friday, and Books on the Hill will provide visitors with tea and cake throughout the day.
Julian Hight will be at Books on the Hill in Hill Road at 11am on November 28 where he will sign copies of the book.
