A fortnight of roadworks are to begin in North Somerset today (Monday).
A Bristol Water project means that Bishops Road in Cleeve, which connects it to Claverham, will be shut from this morning.
The work is expected to take about two weeks to complete, with engineers hoping the road will be reopened to motorists on March 17.
A diversion route, along the A370, Smallway and Claverham Road has been set up.
However, the road closure means buses normally serving Claverham will have to be re-routed.
