More than 60 people took part in the Portishead Christmas big clean during the holidays.
Volunteers picked up 47 bags of rubbish in 53 streets, as well as across parks and beaches in two days on Boxing Day and December 27.
A spokesman from the Turn The Tide Portishead, which runs the big clean event, said: “Portishead, you are amazing.
“Considering there was a weather warning in place for most the weekend, those figures are fantastic.
“So many of you sent in amazing photos as well of you all taking part and we couldn’t be more proud of you as a community.
“Thank you all so much for taking part in the Christmas Big Clean. Our next Big Clean event will be announced soon.”
Unusual items collected from the weekend include a shopping trolley, which has now been returned, laminate flooring and a 90s McDonald’s toy.
Also found during the clean were a stein, bike mudguard, paint brush, plant pot holder, flip flops and an eroded hard drive.
