MILSOM Dennis Henry Dennis Milsom died peacefully at home in Galmpton, Devon on Monday 23rd January surrounded by his family. He leaves his wife Christine, son John, daughter Elizabeth and Grand-daughter Emily May. Dennis moved to Clevedon in 1971 serving the community for nearly 50 years before relocating in 2017 to Devon. As well as successfully campaigning for facilities such as the Strode Road Sports Centre and swimming pool he was a Town Councillor for over 10 years, a member of the Lions, and a Trustee of Clevedon Pier. While serving on the Town Council Dennis was appointed Chair, and contributed to developing relations with Clevedon's twin towns in Ettlingen and Eperney. Dennis was also a keen sailor and golfer, supporting both Clevedon Sailing Club and Clevedon Golf Club as an active member and post holder. In his working life Dennis was Senior Clerk at Albion Chambers in Bristol. The funeral service will be at 11.15 am at Torquay Crematorium on Thursday 9th February. Family flowers only please.
